Lava Cakes
Decadent chocolate lava cakes with a molten center.
Ingredients
- 100 g chocolate
- 50 g butter
- 2 eggs
- 20 g sugar
- 30 g flour
Instructions
Melt chocolate and butter - Melt chocolate and butter together and mix until smooth.
Beat eggs with sugar - Separately, beat eggs with sugar until combined.
Combine - Add chocolate mix to egg mix and stir well.
Add flour - Add flour to the chocolate-egg mix and fold until just combined.
Bake - Pour into a greased pan or muffin tin and bake for 10 minutes at 180°C (~355°F).
Serve - Let cool for 1 minute, then invert onto a plate. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
Tips
- Don’t overbake - the center should be molten.
- Serve immediately for the best lava effect.
- Great with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
