Decadent chocolate lava cakes with a molten center.

Ingredients

  • 100 g chocolate
  • 50 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 20 g sugar
  • 30 g flour

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate and butter - Melt chocolate and butter together and mix until smooth.

  2. Beat eggs with sugar - Separately, beat eggs with sugar until combined.

  3. Combine - Add chocolate mix to egg mix and stir well.

  4. Add flour - Add flour to the chocolate-egg mix and fold until just combined.

  5. Bake - Pour into a greased pan or muffin tin and bake for 10 minutes at 180°C (~355°F).

  6. Serve - Let cool for 1 minute, then invert onto a plate. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.

Tips

  • Don’t overbake - the center should be molten.
  • Serve immediately for the best lava effect.
  • Great with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
